A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

2.5 / 5 stars
Read in March 2020
Book #3.1 in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series

This novella was mostly unnecessary fluff, and therefore this review won’t be a long one. This story was fun for readers who know the characters, but otherwise… it had more of a Christmas-special vibe than an actual story that develops the characters and plot very much.

I decided on 2.5 stars because it was a pleasant, easy read and much less intimidating to get through than the other books. I also appreciated Maas’s exploration of life after war. However, it was slow at times and again… nothing really happened.

I will most likely pick up the next novella, but hopefully it will have a bit more substance than this story!
